Reiki Ear Coning SessionsEar Coning, sometimes called Ear Candling, is an ancient method that has been practiced for thousands of years. Coning gently removes excess wax and toxins from inside the ears and eustacian tubes (residue or "ash" from the lymphatic system frequently blocks the eustacian tubes). Long, tapered (unbleached
muslin) cones are inserted into the exterior ear canal and lit. The
waxy smoke from the beeswax cones creates a vacuum effect
through the ear and eustachian tube which gently
pulls the wax and toxins, and they adhere to the inside of the
cone. Heat from the cones also stimulates the acupressure points.
During the coning process, a reiki healing mini-session takes place.
